The Silent Killer: Unforgiveness (GET RID OF IT!!!)

Help Us Spread the Word! Share…Share…Share

Matthew 6:15 “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

It is important to me that I write via my experiences, that way many of you that may be experiencing some of these same things can be encouraged that you are not the only one going through & that if God brought me out, He will surely do the same for you!

I want to speak with you on today about the silent killer which is un-forgiveness. Many of us have had our share of hurt & pain in our dealings with other people whether it be with our friends, family, co-workers or even having to bare the hurt & shame of bad decisions we have made ourselves. S

See, Tyler Perry is very comical in his approach as Madea in his stage plays & movies, however, his message is very clear: We don’t forgive for the other person but we forgive for ourselves. We forgive so we can move on in our lives & live in peace. We forgive so we can live with a clear conscience & flow easily in the things of God without feeling as though the weight of the world is on our shoulders.

I was recently delivered from the spirit of un-forgiveness in which had latched on to me & was causing me to hold on to things that I was supposed to release unto God & trust Him to fix it, which is what the word of God instructs us to do. See along with un-forgiveness can come many other spirits: bitterness, anger, & malice (just to name a few). Honestly, all of these things can keep us from seeing the hand of God move upon our lives.

God instructs us to forgive as we are also forgiven by him. In the Word of God we are not instructed to forgive only once but repeatedly. Now, I know you may be saying that some things are just hard to forgive but the truth is bearing un-forgiveness is like drinking a cup of poison & killing yourself because that’s what un-forgiveness does, it causes us to be bitter, angry & often jealous of others, and it steals our joy & basically eats at us day by day by day & eventually causes if not a natural death, then a spiritual death.

Nehemiah 8:10 states, “The joy of the Lord is our strength” therefore, if we allow Satan to steal our joy then he wins because we will have no strength to stand!

I encourage you on today to release it ALL unto the Lord today. For it is not our burden to bear. We must perfect our love walk according to I Corinthians 13. We must ask God to help us for none of the things He requests of us can be done in our own strength.

Do you want to be free on today? Are you tired of being miserable & seeing everyone else happy but you can’t seem to live victoriously? It’s time to do a heart check & allow the Lord to remove EVERYTHING that is not like him!

Remember, the SILENT KILLER: UNFORGIVENESS, deal with it because if not it will surely deal with you!
