How to Allow Your Light to Shine Through

Help Us Spread the Word! Share…Share…Share

Discovering our life purpose is only half the battle, developing the necessary resilience to keep going is the other part that not many tend to talk about. Today I want to encourage you to allow your light to shine through even on your darkest days.

I’m sure you may be wondering how the heck you are supposed to do that when you aren’t feeling up to par. Here’s how…

  • Be reminded of who you are and whose you are.
  • Write down affirmations to combat inner struggles and insecurities.
  • Record them in Voice Memo on your phone
  • Play them when you don’t have the strength or courage to dare to repeat them aloud.

No matter where you are on your journey right now, I want you to know that you are not alone in what you are facing. Remember no one is posting their struggles. There’s been a heavy burden on my heart for hurting people and being an empath, I feel those emotions so deeply. I want you to know that I have been praying for you. Praying that the whispers of the enemy will cease, that the negative thoughts consuming your mind and energy would dissipate. That God would raise you up in the midst of the naysayers and prove Himself to be strong and mighty in your life.

My friend, you must allow your light to shine through because what you are feeling is not always factual. Be careful of the thoughts that you allow to consume your mind because when left unattended it can lead to internal harm. I speak from experience because I’ve been there.

I can’t shift gears in my blog until I feel God release me from this assignment. There’s a lot of hurt in the world, so many people trying to find their place, discover their voice, heal from aching pain that just won’t seem to go away. The only reason I haven’t been taken under is due to my faith and belief in God. It is within Him that I find the necessary strength to get up and face another day.

I know we have been talking consistently over the last few days and I pray this message finds you, speaks to you and ignites a joy deep within that no devil in hell can steal away. Remember the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10) and you are well able to persevere against the odds. Continue to whisper and tell yourself, “Greater is He that’s within me than he that’s within the world.” (I John 4:4) Hold these scriptures close my dear because your storm is just about over. But first you must be tested and tried to ensure that you can handle the abundance of blessings that God is about to send your way.

Yes, it’s all a test and the only way out is through.

Keep shining. Keep sharing. Keep standing tall because the rainbow always appears after the storm.

Be well my friend.
